Hi, I’m Saskia, your photographer and filmmaker

I make photographs and films that feel like you. No stiff poses, no pretending — just honest images full of personality that show the beauty in real life. I’m based in South-East London and love working with families, businesses and charities all over the UK and beyond.

Telling your story

I don’t believe photos are about looking nice or being “perfect.” To me, they’re about identity and storytelling: who you are, who you love, and how you want to be remembered. They’re about connection — with your family, your clients, your community. And they’re about emotion — because photos can transport us back and make us feel.

I care deeply about the people I photograph. I’ll take the time to help you feel at ease, so you can simply be yourself. When you enjoy the process, the images reflect it: intimate, alive, full of personality and emotion.

You value honesty and authenticity. You want your personality — and that of others — to shine in your photos.

You believe in self-acceptance (wrinkles, curves, crooked nose and all) even if it’s a work in progress (I’m on this same journey).

You know there’s beauty in ordinary moments, When you see your pictures you want to look at real memories and adventures.

You are not interested in everyone looking perfect and pristine. What matters to you is what your family feels like. The connections, love, funny jokes, the emotions.

You want photos you’ll actually use — on your walls, in albums, or if you’re a business or charity in print, website, and socials.
